Xiong'an New Area Biomass Disposal Project: Processing Biomass from Xiong'an New Area (Baiyangdian Reed)
In 2018-2019, a demonstration facility was established in the Xiong'an New Area to process reeds from Baiyangdian Lake and leather waste from Xiong County. The project has now completed its local emergency response tasks. Over 30,000 tons of local Baiyangdian reeds were carbonized, yielding approximately 12,000 tons of biochar powder.
